We take a cautious, individualized approach to vaccination rather than a one-size-fits-all schedule, and recommend titer testing for adult dogs rather than automatic yearly shots. We are happy to discuss our reasoning and the research behind it with any prospective family.
We retain dewclaws on our puppies rather than removing them. Much like a human thumb, they serve real functions — gripping and holding, stabilizing the leg during high-speed running, preventing muscle atrophy, protecting ligaments, aiding terrain navigation, and providing traction on snow and ice.
